Les vacances de février

In English to remind nice souvenirs to Mum and Daddy. When they arrived we took the LIRR from JFK to Penn Station. Daddy was like a kid when he saw the limousines (just like Toinou) and the skycrappers. Who's got a picture of him/her with his/her Mummy on Brooklin bridge? I! After NYC we spent a couple of days in Albany. The children were enjoying their grands parents and the grands parents were enjoying the American junk food and beers (we learnt Daddy's secret to avoid catching wrinkles: just eat! to have bumpy cheeks!). We drove North to the Adirondacks to ski, hike, ice-skate and always to have beers. Mummy still does not like water but is getting used to drinking beers instead of Muscadet. Finally we went further North up to Montreal where we hiked up to the famous Mont-Royal in the middle of snowy vistas.
As you can notice, despite an overall mild winter, the weather was cold and snowy for a few days.
